The Finer Points of Going Medieval

An easily overlooked gameplay feature is the room type bonus. I admit, 30 hours in I discovered it accidentally while messing with something else. When I realized what I was looking at, I knew other people out there have probably missed this critical detail.

There's a reason it says "Inside: Spare Room" when you click on the furniture and production buildings in your rooms.

There are 9 different room types. If you can fill rooms with certain types of furniture and buildings they get bonuses to production or provide happiness bonuses to your villagers.

  • Kitchen
  • Workshop
  • Library
  • Great Hall
  • Church of Restitution Chapel
  • Oak Brethren Temple
  • Bedroom
  • Shared Bedroom
  • Spare Room

There's even an overlay button to see what the requirements of each room type are in the navigation buttons on the upper left.

So Sneaky
