Barbarian is a brutal combatant, specializing in wielding melee weapons and unleashing warcry that either benefit allies or degrade monsters.

Due to its ease of use, Barbarian is the preferred class for beginners. But don't get me wrong, this is a really strong and solid class that is still a good choice for experienced players.

1. Whirlwind Barb Build

The most famous Barbarian build. Aside from the fact that it can crush almost any kind of enemies with a good weapon, Whirlwind doesn't have any synergy. This makes Whirlwind Barb very customizable compared to other builds in the game.

Skills

  • Whirlwind (Max): The bread and butter of this build for obvious reason. The skill deals massive damage to multiple enemies. Another good thing about this skill is that it can make a path through enemies, preventing Barbarian from being surrounded by mobs.
  • Weapon Mastery (Max): The choice of weapon is ultimately up to you. As long as it is max and you're using that weapon.

Below are the best choices for the remainder of your skills:

  • Battle Orders: Will definitely help the mana hungry Whirlwind.
  • Battle Command: Increases skill level by one.
  • Shout: Increases defense.
  • Berserk: For killing enemies that is immune to physical damage.
  • Leap: For quickly transporting to places.
  • Leap Attack: a good gap closer.
  • Natural Resistance: This is a good option if you still have skill points to spare.

  • Dexterity: You only need points for equipment.

  • Double Swing (Max): Your early level skill while waiting for Frenzy to be available. This lets you attack multiple times. Max this to increase the damage of Frenzy.
