Hardcore Team Deathmatch
Hardcore team deathmatch itself is a game mode that features much more powerful weapons, very limited health, and no radar, or information. It is very limited in hardcore, and gives a much more realistic interpretation of the game. Overall many people enjoy playing this game mode significantly more than playing other game modes. With that being said, there is a lot more competition on this game mode, and therefore some people think they need to try harder, or focus a lot more in order to win on the game mode.
So with all that being said I will talk about some of the things that you should focus on when you are going to play hardcore team deathmatch. In that I will talk about weapons, strategies and other things you can do in order to make your team win, and have a good kill to death ratio.
When you are choosing weapons it mainly falls down to play style. Obviously if you are a sniper then you will not want to use a small machine gun. BUT at the same time the small machine guns, and the assault rifles are the best guns to use in this game. If you are camping, or running and gunning then a small machine gun is exactly the type of weapon that you want to use. They are effective, have the best attachments, and will allow you to have the biggest effect on each game. So with that being said I would say stick to small machine guns, and assault rifles.
This does not mean that you cannot use other weapons, but those are the weapons that I strongly suggest. I think that you will have the most success with the small machine guns, and assault rifles.
If you are going to use a sniper rifle, I suggest a suppressor. Also the ACOG, or iron sights helps so this gun can be used for multi-purpose. I would also suggest setting up the perks to help you effectively depending on the class.
Shotguns and LMG's are not effective on this game mode. They do not allow you to maximize the kills, or move enough. Not to mention that with the weapons the other team is using you will not be very effective using these weapons.
The perks obviously vary. This should go all depending on how your play style is. personally I use Hardline and cold blooded (Greed 1), along with toughness, and I vary perk 3. But you can honestly change what you want. This is something that will be based off experimenting, and what you think will work best for you.
When you are playing hardcore team deathmatch, you can play a vary of different strategies. Personally I would like a perfect world where no one camps, but where the game just came out I can understand why people are camping. So with that being said I think that is a fine strategy to an extent.
If you are good at running and gunning on other Call of Duty games then you will have no problem on this game assuming that you use a SMG. I think they are very effective, and you can come out of a sprint and easily shoot the enemy. I think they are very effective, and will allow you to take enemies out much easier.
You will also notice that the game has made this a lot easier overall for you to be successful when you are using SMG's assuming you are good with aiming, then you will have no problem being able to scope people up and take out enemies that are also running around. Not to mention that campers are fairly easy to take out if you pay attention to teammates who die, and pay attention when you die to the other players on the map. This will allow you to take full advantage and get ahead when re-spawning.

Overall Team deathmatch for hardcore players right now is the game mode to play. Until hardcore headquarters or domination comes out this is what everyone is playing. So with that being said, Here is your guide to playing on hardcore team deathmatch.

Haha that's good.. I love it when a team tried to hack, and fails.. haha..
Wraith on January 14, 2013:
LOL. Well, my team beat the wall-hacker's team into the dirt. I think we had a more than 10 kill lead in TDM (don't remember it very well though).
John Reid-Roberts (author) from Boston, Massachusetts on January 06, 2013:
Yah I have seen some using wall hacks.. Drives me kinda crazy overall... Either way my team has decided that if people are going to try to pull things like that we have a special tube class set up that allows us to counter those kinds of people...
Wraith on January 06, 2013:
Seen similar. I think it was "If I'm doing better than you, you suck. If you're doing better than me, you're hacking. If everyone is doing better than me, I have lag." Unfortunately, I'm of the sort of skill level where that is quite often true (the last two, at least). On the other hand, I do NOT have too much pride to admit that I run into quite a lot of people who are better players than me.
Here's something funny for you: I ran into a guy the other day who was using wall hacks. Guess what attachment he was using? The MMS. That's right, he was trying to use an attachment to hide the fact that he was (quite blatantly) hacking.
John Reid-Roberts (author) from Boston, Massachusetts on January 05, 2013:
HAHA it reminds of a Meme I saw recently..
"If I'm doing better than you, you're a noob,
If you're doing better than me, you have no life.
IF everyone is doing better than me, I have lag"
Wraith on January 04, 2013:
So far, I've been accused of hacking in MW3, BO2, and I think I've also been accused in CoD4 too. Literally makes me LMAO.
John Reid-Roberts (author) from Boston, Massachusetts on January 04, 2013:
HAHAHA yes that is great... when me and my team get accused of things like that I ALWAYS play it up and I will be like "Kyle I told you not to use your hacker on this game" and so on.. Just drives those people that much more crazy hahaha.
Wraith on January 03, 2013:
Personally, I've NEVER been able to rush for s*** in Call of Duty games. I was *sort of* okay at it in MW3, but in the 'better' games (like CoD4), I pretty much couldn't do it. Then... I get this game for Christmas, and 3 days later (between 10th and 15th matches), I get accused of hacking. Why? Rushing with a Vector, fast mags, suppressor, and laser sight (or 2 of those, can't remember off the top of my head, might've even had a reflex sight on it...) on Slums in Core TDM. Got accused of hacking at about 21 kills, 3 deaths. Finished the game around 27-7. (Best part is, it was a TEAMMATE that accused me of hacking.)
