Assessment and conclusion
WayForward is at it again, but I had no idea they were making BloodRayne spin-off games. Correction, they made a BloodRayne spin-off game in 2011 called BloodRayne:Betrayal. BloodRayne Betrayal was a hack n’ slash/platformer game where you played as the title character, a dhampir named “Rayne.” Ryan’s tasked to track down and battle a group of vampires in an underground hidden castle. It was a Castlevania style game for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Whelp Wayforward is coming out with a remaster called BloodRayne:Betrayal Fresh bites on September 9th 2021. as it’ll include voice acting, unlike the original release. It’ll also be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox One Series, and PC.
I’m not sure how I missed the original game, but I’ll be looking to check it out when I get the chance, as it looks fun. I like the look of the combat and Rayne’s move-set, and according to reviews it’s fairly short. clocking in at 3 hours. It also seems easy to play, which is a plus.
