At the Summit of Apocrypha: Waking Dreams Book Puzzle (Skyrim Dragonborn Quests)

Author:

Before you can finally face Miraak in the Elder Scrolls Skyrim Dragonborn Quests, you need to solve a book puzzle on the "At the Summit of Apocrypha" Quest. When you read the Waking Dreams book you will be transported to the area where Miraak resides. In order to read Part VI of Waking Dreams, you must place the books on the correct pedestals. Once this is done, then the book in the center will be activated and it will take you to the final area of the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC.

In Part V of Waking Dreams, you will find yourself in a large room with 4 pedestals. You need to place the correct books on the correct pedestals so you will be able to read the book in the center of the room. Take out any enemies in this room and be careful not to fall!

Skyrim Dragonborn: At the Summit of Apocrypha Quest

Waking Dreams Book Puzzle:

(1) Place the Gnashing Blades book on the pedestal that has a picture of an "opened jaw"

(2) Place the Delving Pincers book on the pedestal with the picture of "two pincer claws"

(3) Place Boneless Limbs book on pedestal with picture of "flailing tentacles"

(4) Place the Prying Orbs book on pedestal with picture of an "eye"

After you have put all the books on the right pedestals you will be able to read Part VI of the Waking Dreams book. This will take you to Miraak. Note the books DO NOT HAVE TO BE PLACED IN ORDER. As long as you match the books with the right pedestals it will work. The order does not matter.

Read the book in the center and the game will load to the next area. The next area is where you will be able to fly a dragon -- a first in Elder Scrolls Skyrim!
