25 Fun Things to Do on a Hot Summer Day

Don't Be Bored: Have Fun This Summer!

Summer break: Everyone loves it! Sitting out in the warm sun, splashing around in a pool, what's not to like? But sometimes, as much as I hate to say it, summer break can get boring. Here are 25 things you can do to keep the boredom away:

1. Go for a swim!
2. Play in the sprinkler.
3. Go on a picnic.
4. Take nature pictures.
5. Make string bracelets. You can sell them or keep them for you and your friends!
6. Make an ice cream sundae or a root beer float.
7. Go for a walk (or window shopping).
8. Make lemonade and sell it at a stand.
9. Give you dog a bath.
10. Have a sleepover.
11. Plant a tree or flowers.
12. Go to the park.
13. Learn a new trick: a cartwheel, back handspring, handstand, or a front flip.
14. Tie-dye a shirt.
15. Make a smoothie.
16. Make popsicles.
17. Camp in a tent in your backyard.
18. Have a BBQ with your neighbors.
19. Play games in the dark: cops & robbers, ghost in the graveyard, etc.
20. Blast the radio and make up a new dance with your friends.
21. Make up a dance in a pool.
22. Have a water balloon fight.
23. Take your dog for a walk.
24. Sign up for a summer camp.
25. Fly a kite.

Remember, any time you go out in the sun, be sure to put on sunscreen with at least SPF 15 and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

UH bOring. Hate 2 Critize but what if its a hot day. But who wants to be in a pool with lots of clorine, screaming children, bad music and people who use the pool water as their toliets, hey i hate to be a downer but not every one has acess to a pool outside. Or even a nice pool. No offence but Wash your dog? Noone wants to be in a bathroom all day and if you wash him outside or in your garage from the heat you will get sticky because your bound to get soap on yourself. Something that people never think of really doing on a hot day is... Bringing other dogs over, having a spa party with friends, seeing a concert, watching a movie, going on a road trip!, at the night having a camp out in your backyard, going to the farm to pick fresh berries, visitiong a non-putdown shelter, babysitting, going into a shop trying on things for fun with friends and pretend you have money with you,getting high on candy, sleeping in, making videos, ziplining, going on a tampoline, playing capture the flag, shaving your dog for the summer, seeing family, having a BBQ-that is something i really think is fun and easy on the list, bird watching, kyaking, canoe-ing, ski-dooing, gardening-i think i might have already written that. The point is yah somethings are sucky on that list, but with an open mind you can have fun, your probably thinking some idiot person is writing this but just try it. I know more than half of these things i wrote are indeed un practical but this is here just to show you there is a lot of fun out there waiting for you.
