Easy and Delicious Fish Balls

the sauce:

  • 2 large tomatoes, grinded
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coriander and parsley, finely chopped
  • black pepper
  • coriander seeds, powder
  • salt
  • cumin
  • paprika
  • red chili flakes
  • olive oil

fish preparation:

  • 1/2 kilogram sardine, well cleaned and filtred from water
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • green olives, chopped
  • 1/2 cup round white rice, boiled
  • coriander
  • salt
  • ginger
  • turmeric
  • black pepper


  1. First of all, you prepare the sardine and leave it to dry in a strainer. Then, prepare the sauce.
  2. Bring a pan and add olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, coriander and parsley, and all the spices mentioned above. Stir well on medium heat and add some water.
  3. When the tomato mixture is boiling, leave it to cook for 10 min on low heat.
  4. During this time, blend the sardine and add the other ingredients to it. Mix everything well and shape small sardine balls and add them into the cooking pan.
  5. Cook it for an additional 15 min on low heat, and garnish with parsley leaves.
  6. Serve your fish balls and enjoy a different taste.
