These are Well Done

I thawed the steaks out. Wrapped each steak with a piece of bacon. Used a toothpick to catch the overlapped ends of bacon and stab into the piece of steak.

Sprinkled seasoned salts on one side of steak. Put a generous pat of butter on each steak.

Placed on aluminum foil. Placed in grill. 350 degrees. Cook for 12 minutes, then remove from foil and place directly on grill. Cook for 12 minutes, then turn. Cook 5 minutes more.

Again. If you prefer your steaks done less, you will have to use a temperature probe and remove them at desired temperature.

It was a cold day when I turned on the grill. The temperature said 350 degrees. It could have been more, but the air temperature outside was 50 degrees and the temperature registered less than the full temperature of the grill.

Cook on Foil First then Place Directly on Grill

I put my steaks and aluminum foil into the grill. I cooked them for 12 minutes. There was a lot of juice and I decided to remove them from the foil and place directly on the grill.

I proceeded to cook them for an additional 12 minutes, then I flipped them over. There was a nice sear on the steaks. The bacon was partially done, so I cooked them for an additional 12 minutes.

There was a nice smoky infusion in the steaks. The bacon was crispy, and the meat was well done.
