How to Make Chicken Jali Kebab?

Chicken jali kebab is one of the best non-vegetarian snacks to be served. You will not only love eating it but also enjoy cooking this quick snack. Chicken jali kebabs are succulent minced chicken/lamb with spicy masala filling inside and crispy fried on the outside. Perfect for a dinner party, it can be served with coriander or mint chutney.

Step 1

  • Kebab Mixture Preparation: Soak bread sliced in a small bowl, squeeze until there is no water content remaining. In another ball, add mince, soaked bread, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, red chili flakes, garam masala powder, onion, crushed cumin seeds, coriander, and mix well. Rest aside for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

  • Egg Mixture Preparation: In a bowl, add eggs, salt, black pepper, cornflour, and beat until well incorporated.

Step 3

  • Assembling: Make small balls of the prepared kebab mixture and flatten them thinly between your palms. Coat in the prepared egg mixture and bread crumbs.

Step 4

  • Fry Chicken jail kebab: Heat oil in a saucepan, and fry the prepared kebab. Drizzle some egg mixture on the kebabs while frying and fry each side for 2-3 minutes on medium-low flame or until golden brown. Serve hot with ketchup.
