- 1 pound turkey livers
- 1 cup fry magic coating mix
- 1 slice onion
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1 teaspoon johnny's seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon mrs. dash seasoning
I poured some fry magic on a plate. I put the liver on it and rolled them around. I like to get them coated thoroughly.
In my pan, I have ghee and some pieces of onion and a slice of onion. They can heat up with the ghee. My oil sounds hot, so in go the livers.
I scooped up the cooked onion and set it on top of some of the liver. Sprinkle the pieces with seasoned salt and Mrs Dash.
Cover the pan. Let them steam through. After a couple minutes, flip the liver over. The coating will brown. That's okay. Make sure they are at least 165 degrees before you take them out.
The liver has a turkey flavor. The coating caramelized. I was going to dip my liver in mustard, but I didn't feel like I had to.
My liver was very good!
Tomorrow, I will eat some more. Maybe it's good cold.
