A 26 year old woman stumbling through life and a cookbook one day at a time!
3 bananas, overripened
2 cups of all purpose flour
3/4 baking soda
3/4 brown sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 butter, unsalted
1/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup of walnuts
1/2 of chocolate chips
-Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
-Peel and smash your bananas
- Cream your sugar and butter together until they're homogeneous. Then add your eggs, vanilla, and bananas and mix again.
-In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt. Give this a quick mix to incorporate the dry ingredients.
- Slowly add the dry into the wet ingredients mixing as you go. Then add the milk. Make sure to scrape the sides of your bowl, no one wants flour in their bread. Once it's mixed, add your walnuts or chocolate chips.
-Grease a bread pan on the bottom and the sides before adding your mixture. Bread should be cooked for an hour at 350 or a toothpick comes out clean when pierced in the middle.
