Chicken Lollipop Made At Home- So Easy Recipe

Chicken Lollipop Recipe is the very popular appetizer in India. Crispy and crunchy from outside. juicy from inside.

Juicy & crispy chicken lollipop for evening snacks. This dish is favorite Starters of all of age groups. the recipe of the mouth watering and delicious starters of all time. Chicken lollipops are served with Szechuan sauce and salad.

Ingredients :

For the Chicken-

  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1teaspoon Soya Sauce
  • 1teaspoon Red Chili paste
  • 2teaspoon Corn flour
  • 2teaspoon Refined Flour
  • 1no. Egg
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

For the Sauce-

  • 2-3 nos. Dry Red Chili
  • 1 teaspoon chopped Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped Onions
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Soya Sauce

The Chicken Lollipops-

  • 2-3 nos. Spring Onion
  • Handful chopped Coriander leaves
  • Handful Ginger julienne
  • 1 teaspoon Diluted Corn flour

How to Make (Procedure) :

  • Take fresh Chicken Lollipop in a bowl add to this 1/2 tsp Black Pepper, 1tsp Ginger-Garlic paste, 1tsp Salt, 1tsp Vinegar, 1tsp Soya Sauce and 1tsp Red Chili paste.
  • Nicely coat this marinate over the lollipops and keep it for 15-20 minutes.
  • After 15-20 minutes add 2tsp Corn flour, 2tsp Refined White flour and 1 no. of Egg to the marinated chicken and mix it nice and thoroughly.
  • Now deep fry these lollipops in medium hot oil.
  • You can coat the chicken with a light layer of dry flour before placing them in the oil if you want to make it extra crispy.
  • Now keep them aside, take a fresh pan to make the sauce.
  • Heat the pan nicely.
  • Chop 2-3 nos. Dry Red Chilies and 2-3 nos. Spring Onions.
  • Add Oil to the extremely hot pan.
  • In this goes the chopped Red Chilies and 1tbsp chopped Garlic, lightly sauté. As the Garlic starts getting brown add 1tbsp finely chopped Onions and toss it up.
  • Now add 1tbsp Red Chili paste, 1tbsp Red Chili Sauce, 1tbsp Ketchup and a dash of water and cook everything together.
  • Add Salt and Pepper to taste.
  • Then add 1/2tsp Sugar, 1tsp Vinegar, 1tsp Dark Soya Sauce.
  • Stir it up and bring it to a nice boil.
  • Take the crispy fried chicken in a plate.
  • Add chopped bulbs of Spring Onions, handful of Ginger julienne, freshly chopped Coriander leaves and Onion greens to the sauce.
  • Nicely mix everything together. Now nicely toss the fried Chicken pieces in this Sauce.
  • Dilute 1tsp Corn flour in very little water and add to the mixture. Mix it well and turn of the gas.
  • Serve it hot with a garnish of Onion greens on it and enjoy.
