Spinach & Mushroom Stuffed Turkey Meatballs

When I first got my air fryer, admittedly I was a little intimidating to use it at first.. so it sat for about 2 months before I decided to give it a try.

Now, I literally am obsessed with it! I have prepared so many dishes with it, and have plenty more recipes I am excited to experiment with it. If you are a proud air fryer owner as well, be sure to keep an eye out, because I will be posting a lot more air fryer recipes the rest of this year!

I don't usually crave spaghetti and meatballs, but for some reason it just sounded so amazing.. I haven't made meatballs in so long, so I didn't have a recipe to use, and I also don't eat red meat. So .. as I normally do, I just kind of "winged it". They came out so delicious, I was honestly surprised!

I used fresh spinach for this recipe, however, frozen spinach that has been thawed and squeezed out would do just fine as well!

These also come together insanely fast! About 10 minutes to mix the ingredients together, and it cooks for 6 minutes in the air fryer!



  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 4 small baby bella mushrooms
  • 1 cup spinach, torn or chopped
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees. In a large bowl add your ground turkey, egg, bread crumbs, torn or chopped spinach, diced baby bella mushrooms, garlic salt, italian seasoning and olive oil.
  2. Using your hands, gently knead the mixture until it is all combined.
  3. Cook meatballs in the air fryer for 4 minutes one side, and 2 minutes the other side. Serve with your choosing of sides!
