These chicken wings are so delicious and while they do take some extra effort to cook the delicious taste will prove to you that they were worth the effort. I use a lot of ground cayenne in my cooking and if you don't want the fire or as much fire simply reduce or cut out the cayenne altogether but if you do you will be missing out on the delicious added flavor that cayenne gives to food especially deep fried foods.

You will want raw non breaded chicken wings to make this recipe with. Buy them all ready cut up into wings and drum sticks or buy the whole wings and cut them up yourself. I prefer to cut them up myself but you can do it either way.

Now you will want to make the below dry breading for your chicken wings.

1 Envelope Good Seasons Italian Dressing Dry

1 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Black Pepper

1 Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper

4 Cups of Self Rising Flour

Mix all your dry ingredients together and set aside in a large bowl.

Now mix together 4 cups of whole milk and 2 large eggs in a large bowl and whisk together well.

Now this is a two step process. Dip your chicken wings into the milk and egg mixture and then into the dry breading mix being sure to coat each chicken wing well. As you dip and coat them lay them on a large tray or plate. Once you get them all coated well your going to want to heat up your oil for frying to around 350 degrees. Drop your chicken wings into the hot oil and fry for 10-12 minutes to ensure they are thoroughly cooked. Cut into a thick one to make sure you are frying them until done. You don't want no raw chicken. You want to make sure you shake them off well before frying to make sure you don't get excessive flour into your oil where you are frying them.

As you take them out of the hot oil and know they are well done place them into a paper twoel lined pan to drain well. If your making a lot for a party etc you can turn your oven on 200 degrees and keep the pan of chicken wings in the oven to make sure they stay warm.

Orange Glaze For Your Chicken Wings

Be sure to use a name brand orange marmalade in your sauce for your wings. If you want the best taste don't use a sugar free or low fat marmalade.

For your orange marmalade glaze you will need.

1 Cup Orange Marmalade

1/2 Cup Dijon Mustard

1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce

Mix your glaze ingredients together well in a large bowl. Dip your hot chicken wings in the glaze a few at a time to coat them well. Return to pan to keep warm.

When you serve your chicken wings serve them with carrot and celery sticks and small cups of ranch and bleau cheese dressing.
