In the roast:
- sirloin tip roast
- 2 tablespoons onion
- garlic cloves
- 1/2 stick butter, brown roast and retain
On the roast:
- 1 package Lipton recipe secrets beefy onion, in butter
- 1/2 cup water, mix with Lipton and butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 cyp onion
- 2 stalks celery
By the roast:
- 8 potatoes, chopped into 1 inch pieces
- 1 cup carrots, baby
Thawing Roast 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Thawed the roast. Poked holes and inserted garlic cloves in the roast. Cut two slots and pushed minced onion inside.
Sprinkle ginger on the roast.
Then, melted butter in a large frying pan and fried roast on one side for 4 minutes, flipped it over and fried other side.
Thus browned, remove roast and place in bag. Retain browned butter and bits. Add Lipton mix to butter and add water. Stir. I scraped all of that into a large measuring cup.
Then, put the raw onions and celery on top of the roast and poured the butter mixture over that.
Remembered the baby carrots at last minute. Seal bag, cut top, add slits in bag.
Place in oven. Bake for a couple hours then slice and place bag in crock pot.
