About Pumpkin Bourbon Hot Chocolate

When my kids were little, I would get together with a large group of friends to take all of our kids trick-or-treating and party. When the kids got all done, we would come to the house and have a Halloween party. The kids would have their drinks and food, but this drink was for the adults, not the kids, and it was always a hit. You can leave the bourbon out to make it kid friendly if you would like.

  • 6 cups Whole milk
  • 4 cups Heavy Cream
  • 2 cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 cup Bourbon
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt

  1. Add milk, cream pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, salt, sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder in a large pot and mix until combined
  2. Cook on medium-high heat until it comes to a boil. Stir often to prevent scorching the milk and cream.
