Pigs in a Blanket - Modified for Time Limitations
Cooking with adventure in mind is my game. Nowadays, I cook with a camera.
My hubby was referencing a day in one of his lake bound, cabin trips, where the people he was staying with, decided to create a fast treat in the oven with the resources they had to work with.
Bread, buttered on outside. Mustard and ketchup inside, plus a hotdog , rolled up and pinned.
Aluminum foil to save on dishes. 350 degrees, in oven, until butter was browned. Takes about 20 minutes, longer or less, depending on how crispy you like your butter.
Ingredients
- bread slice
- butter
- hot dog
- mustard
- ketchup
Butter bread. Flip over. A little mustard and ketchup. Roll bread up. Pin with toothpick. 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until browned.
Roll bread around hotdog. Secure bread around hotdog with toothpicks. Bake at 350 degrees until butter browns.
Remove toothpicks before eating.
