Peach Cobbler for Two in Slow Cooker Recipe

I was taught to prepare food and bake at the young age of three by my angel, who was my grandmother Knight.

Peach Cobbler for Two

Make this recipe for someone special whom you invited over for dinner. This can be served with whipped cream or ice cream.

  • 1 stick butter, soft
  • 1/2 Package white cake mix
  • 1 can-14.5 ounces peaches, sliced

  1. In the bottom of a slow cooker, place the stick of butter.
  2. Then using a spoon cover the bottom and sides about three inches high.
  3. Pour the peaches over the butter at the bottom of the cooker.
  4. Sprinkle half a bag of cake mix over the peaches, covering them.
  5. Using a spoon, even the mix over the peaches.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of sugar lightly over the top of the cobbler.
  7. Cook for two hours on high. Check after 1 and a half hours to see if your cooker cooks faster than mine. All slow cookers are not the same.

I Bake this Cobber with Peach Halves

I baked this cobble this morning at 4:00 am, on Halloween. I always bake when I cannot sleep. I used the same recipe with two differences: I used whole peaches cut in half and added cinnamon with sugar sprinkled on top of the cobbler.

After sampling my peach halves cobbler, I concluded I preferred the sliced peaches. The flavor is different to me. Everyone will have to come to their own conclusion.

Happy baking.
