Charlotte likes pretty things, and she loves the beach, sushi, coffee and seashells.
Paramour is interesting because it's considered a rooftop bar. The decoration is what one may call 'swanky' and funky, and the carpeting and many sofas make this a relaxing and inviting place. This bar has a fantastic view of the city. The bar offers a large selection of beer, wine, and various kind of unique cocktails. There are outdoor seating and live performances. The restaurant is located at 1524 102 9th Street in San Antonio, Texas. The bathrooms are quirky, which add to the overall appeal of the bar. Food that was recommended at this establishment is the pretzel bites with smoked gouda fondue. Other foods available are cheese with a charcuterie plate, ahi tuna poke, and barbecue brisket tacos.
Friday nights can get crowded, and make sure to bring a light jacket with you in case it gets a bit chilly. Fortunately, the bar has blankets in case it gets a little cold. Since space is open, heaters are used only when the weather is extremely, unbearably cold. Some may consider it a little pricey, so make sure to hit up the ATM before visiting. There's no cover to get in, but expect a line on Friday and Saturday night. It's important to note that no hats are allowed, at all, and neither are open-toed shoes or tank tops, even though the website doesn't mention this. Some people felt that the waiters and waitresses were a bit dismissive at times. The most complaints came from the security guard and the strict enforcement of 'no hats,' not even for those that are in recovery for chemo or wear a hat for some medical purpose, so keep that in mind. Some individuals felt that they had to wait about fifteen to twenty minutes to get served after being seated. Apparently, around 1:30 in the morning, the bar starts closing down, and if you have a drink in hand, you may be asked to finish it, or they will take it away. Sometimes the bar closes early for private parties, which are supposedly posted on the website, and on paramour's social media platforms as well. Interestingly, cigars are allowed, but e-cigs and cigarettes are not.
What people love about Paramour is the ambience and the way that the location offers visually stunning views. Some have said that waltzing into Paramour is like entering Alice in Wonderland or Willy Wonka Land. Keep in mind that on the check, there may be a service charge, so pay attention to that when tipping. Make sure to visit the champagne vending machine as well, and if you're brave enough, order the "Fun Bag." To get an idea on prices, a spinach dip with chips is about twelve dollars. A Twelve-ounce mixed drink is about sixteen dollars. It's near the San Antonio Museum of Art, so one can plan a fun date night blending art, some music, great views, and drinks. During the day, make sure to grab one of the freshly brewed coffees. They even decorate the top with a bit of pretty foam. The rooftop hosts space to have private events for ten people or even up to five hundred. The bar is open Mondays from eight to twelve in the morning. Tuesday to Saturday, from eight in the morning to two in the morning, and Sundays from ten in the morning to five. Coffee is served Monday through Saturday from eight in the morning to four in the afternoon, and on Sundays from ten in the morning to four in the afternoon. On Fridays and Saturday, 'Smart Casual' dress code is enforced. This means that something that can't be worn is any athletic attire, but it's best to call in advance to make sure you're not turned away at the door due to clothing. This can be especially bothersome if you take an Uber to this bar. Be careful when parking. If you park in the wrong area, or pay for parking that is for the wrong spot, you may have a 'boot' put on your car that will require a pretty penny to remove. Again, make sure to check Facebook and Instagram for unexpected closures due to private parties before coming here and finding the doors locked. Accessible elevators are located on the left side of the building.

You give a balanced review. We recently took a look at the Doubletree rooftop bar in Amsterdam. Sometimes it's worth paying a little more with a view included.
