Oven Fried Turkey Wings

When it come to turkey I just love it but what I love the most is fried turkey....it's so...so good but I hate getting out the turkey fryer and going through the whole process, so what I did is found a way to get my fried turkey taste without using my turkey fryer.

The method I use to get that fried turkey taste was using two cooking stages that made my turkey taste just like it came out of the fryer......Follow me so I can show you what I did.

6 whole turkey wings - Cut into pieces

5 cups of all purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/3 teaspoon of white pepper

4 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning

1 medium bottle of sunflower seed oil

Lets start off by washing off your turkey wings then pat them dry and season them with salt and pepper, and garlic powder then set them on the side

Using a large bowl combine the flour and the Cajun seasoning together and mix well, using a large heavy skillet add enough oil to cover half of the skillet and let it get hot on a medium high heat.

while the oil is getting hot take your turkey wings and coat it in your flour mixture coat them very well, when your oil is hot enough start to frying place the wings in to the oil and fry 8 minutes on each side reduce the heat down medium so the turkey can get that fried crunch all around the turkey then remove fro the oil and place the wings on a baking sheet. Pre-heat the oven on 400 then put the wings into the oven reduce the oven down to 350 degrees and bake for one hour then remove from the oven and serve
