I was given a gallon jar of olives the other day, and now, I'm deciding methods of keeping them.
The first quart of olives came out and were placed in a quart jar for mom. She needed some.
Storage. Did you know you can freeze olives. A thought, but how are they when you thaw them?
They froze easily. Solid. Then, we gently thawed them and took a bite.
My hubby didn't like the texture.
Hmmm. I didn't notice any difference in texture. So. I will not freeze any more. (I thought little ziplock bags, or a quart bag would be okay in the freezer)
