My Favorite Peach Cobbler Recipe

I bake my favorite Peach Cobbler recipe in any season. I have used frozen, fresh and canned peaches and I cannot tell the difference.

My Favorite Peach Cobbler Recipe



  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk, whole milk
  • 2 cups peaches
  • 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup sugar


  1. First put two cups of peaches in a separate bowl and pour 1/2 cup of sugar over the peaches and mix well. Set it aside for later.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Into a mixing bowl sift flour, salt, baking powder and mix with 1 cup of sugar; stir in milk to make batter. Mix well.
  4. Melt butter in 8-inch-deep baking pan. Pour batter over melted butter (do not stir).
  5. Pour peaches over batter (do not stir).
  6. Bake 1 hour.
