Louisiana Spiced Fried Chicken Recipe

Some Like It Hot

Some do like it hot, if that is you, and you love fried chicken , then this Louisiana Spiced Fried Chicken is right up your alley...On the other hand if you have kiddo's you may want to make them up a batch of mild.

A variation on traditional southern fried chicken. This was made popular by Popeye's a fast food chain.

Spicy Fried Chicken with a bite..it is delicious served hot or cold....with mashed potatoes and gravy, or maybe some coleslaw and biscuits. But my favorite way to serve it up is with

Red Beans and Rice, a staple throughout the south.

Although the instructions given are for a serving of 2., I would suggest you cook extra, you will be glad you did. This recipe calls for chicken breast but I have used legs and thighs or what ever pieces are on sale for the week and they are just as delicious as the chicken breasts. If you need to make up a batch for the kiddo's , then just put a few pieces aside and leave off the marinade.
