Ingredients

  • 150 Gms Besan flour
  • 1 no Tomato, Sliced
  • 200 Gms Curd, Blended
  • 3 nos Onions, Sliced
  • 2 Gms Hing
  • 1 TSP Coriander powder
  • 3 Gms Ajwain seeds
  • 1 TSP Red chilli powder
  • 1 Tea spoon Turmeric powder
  • 3 nos Red chilli whole
  • 100 Ml Refined oil, For frying pakora
  • 40 Ml Ghee, For making kadi
  • 5 Gms Mustard seeds
  • 10 nos Curry leaf
  • 150 ml Water, For mixing
  • As per taste Salt
  • 4 nos Green chilli, Chopped

Instructions

  1. Firstly we will make pakora. Take besan 65%( check ingredient list) in the mixing bowl and add a pinch of ajwain seeds, red chilli powder,turmeric powder,chopped chilli and half of the sliced onions and salt,now add little water and mix it well to form a pakora mixture. Take a kadhai,add refined oil and make it hot so that,we can fry this pakoras. Start frying the pakora's in batches till all the mixture gets exhausted. Remove the excess oil from the pakora and keep them aside .
  2. Now will take the remaining besan in the bowl,mix it with curd ,salt,red chilli powder turmeric powder,coriander powder and keep aside .
  3. Take a Kadhai, add pure ghee and make it hot now start adding mustard seeds,hing,curry leaf and whole red chilli,after crackling it,add remaining sliced onions saute it untill it become translucent then add sliced tomatoes ( optional) saute it also nicely then add step 2 ready besan and curd batter into it. Bring it boil and add check the seasoning and the consistency now add water as per the requirement for the kadi, try to keep it little thick . After 15 minutes when you see that your kadi is cooked nicely then add the ready pakora's ( step 1) mix it well.
  4. Pour the kadi Pakora in the serving bowl, Serve hot with white rice
