  • It is made with Indian spices, rice, and Chicken /meat, or vegetables and sometimes, in addition, eggs and/or potatoes in certain regional varieties.


  • Chicken 1 kg
  • 2 Large sized Onions
  • 2 to 4 onions
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 to 4 Green Chillies
  • 2 Tablespoon Red chillies
  • 4 to 6 Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Chicken powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 2 Tablespoon Bryani Masala
  • 1 Table spoon Soya souce
  • 1 Table spoon Chilli sauce
  • 1 Table spoon Vinegar
  • 2 to 3 Dried Bay leaves
  • 1 to 2 Star anise
  • 1 Tablespoon white cumin seeds
  • 4 to 6 Cloves
  • Few coriander leaves
  • Few mint leaves
  • 1 to 3 cinnamon
  • 3 to 4 cardamom
  • Half cup Yogurt
  • 4 Glass Rice
  • Water , as needed
  • Cooking oil, For Frying


For Preparing The Bryani


  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • 2 Small Bowls
  • 1 Medium Bowl
  • 1 Glass
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Spoon

For Cooking Bryani

  • Big pot
  • Frying pan
  • Slotted Spatula

  1. First of All take Chicken and wash them properly
  2. Then Take a bowl and put Chicken into it and add half Tablespoon red chillies,Black pepper, salt ,Half cup Yogurt,1 Tablespoon of Soya souce,Chilli souce, vinegar, 1 tablespoon of Chicken Powder, 1 tablespoon of Ginger and Garlic paste,Mix all the ingredients
  3. Marinate For At least a couple of hour.
  4. On the other hand Take a bowl and put Rice into it, Wash them and take aside for at least 30 minutes
  5. Cut Onions, Tomatoes and Green Chillies into Small pieces
  6. Take a Frying pan Add 2 cup Oil in it and also Add Onion into it
  7. Fry Onions until its colour changes into light brown ,after added the pieces of Tomatoes and chillies into it and cook for 5 minutes, and then add All the spices into it and mixed them well
  8. Then Add the marinated chicken into it and Cooked For atleast 15 minutes, when chicken cooked properly then turned off the Flame
  9. On The other hand Take a Big pot And add Almost 8 Glass of water into it.
  10. Then Bring it a boil and added 4 tablespoon of Salt and then Added rice
  11. When water is about to Absorb,then turn off the flame and remove all water
  12. Then Take a pot and apply two tablespoon of oil on it and then add 1 layer of rice on it and 1 layer of chicken on it then again made another layer of rice and chicken and then added some fry onions, few coriander and mint leaves, and lemon also
  13. Also add some yellow colour on it
  14. Then cover the pot and cook for 5 minutes on low flame
  15. After 5 minutes turned off the flame
  16. Now you're Yummy Bryani is ready
