How to Make Coconut Chutney

Coconut Chutney
Ingredients :

  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • Chana dal
  • Half a bowl of coriander
  • 1 green Chilli

Method 1:
1) Transfer all the given ingredients in a blender and grind to a smooth paste using little water.

For tempering :

Ingredients :

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 8,9 curry leaves
  • 1/5 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/5 tsp mustard
  • 2 Dry Red chillies

1) Now heat a non-stick pan, add 2 tbsp oil.
2) After crackling cumin and mustard seeds, add 2 dry red chillies, 1 tsp turmeric and curry leaves.
3) After 2 minutes pour oil over the coconut chutney.
4) Serve with idli or dosa.
