How to Make Chicken Bread

A homemaker mixing some ingredients and turning them into delicious recipes with a lot of nutritional value. Recipes are very simple to try.



For Dough

  1. Plain flour 4 cups
  2. Instant yeast 1table spoon
  3. Powdered milk 2 table spoon
  4. Salt 1tea spoon
  5. Oil 4 table spoon
  6. Egg 1 (plus one for glazing)
  7. Castor sugar 1tea spoon
  8. Baking powder 1/4 tea spoon

For Chicken Filling

  1. Chicken( boiled and shredded) 1 1/2 - 2 cups
  2. Small onions 2 (finely chopped)
  3. Salt 1 tea spoon
  4. Black pepper 1 tea spoon
  5. Coriander leaves 2Table spoon
  6. Green chilies 4 (chopped)
  7. Garam masala powder 1 tea spoon
  8. Flour 2 Table spoon
  9. Butter 2 Table spoon
  10. Milk 1 cup
  11. Sesame seeds as required


For Chicken Filling

  1. Heat 2 table spoon butter.
  2. Fry onion until soft.
  3. Then add 2 table spoon flour with salt, black pepper and garam masala.
  4. Add the milk.
  5. Cook until thick.
  6. Mix in the shredded chicken add chopped green chilies and coriander leaves.
  7. Mix it well and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Then remove and cool it completely.

For Dough

  1. In a bowl mix flour, salt, castor sugar, milk powder, yeast, baking powder, oil and egg.
  2. Knead to a medium soft dough with slightly warm water.
  3. Leave to rise for 1 hour.

Fill the Bread

  1. Divide the dough into two or three depending on how big you want the loaves.
  2. Roll the dough to a rectangular shape.
  3. Snip the sides with scissors or a knife.
  4. Put filling in the center.
  5. Fold each side so they overlap each other (like a braid).
  6. Brush top with beaten egg.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
  8. Bake on 180° C for 15 minutes.
  9. Right after taking out of the oven apply butter well on whole bread.
  10. Let it rest covered with a cloth for 2-3 min to soften the bread completely.
