How to Cook Tortang Giniling

Omelette is a very well-known egg recipe all around the world. It is typically serve during breakfast but can also be enjoyed anytime of the day. Pork giniling is a popular Filipino dish made with pork and vegetables flavored with tomato sauce. Since I had a leftover pork giniling from yesterday, I decided to add a little twist into the dish to create a new one. Allow me to teach you how I turned my leftover saucy pork giniling into a brand new breakfast dish which I called tortang giniling.
Ingredients
For Tortang Giniling:
- 1/2 cup saucy pork giniling, leftover
- 2 eggs
- salt
- pepper
- cooking oil, as needed
Utensils
For Preparation of Tortang Giniling:
- 2 medium bowls
- 1 small plate

For Cooking:
- frying pan

Instructions
- Beat eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Continue beating. Set aside.
- Heat small amount of cooking oil in a pan. Reheat leftover giniling.
- Pour in beaten eggs. Distribute giniling mixture evenly.
- Cover the pan. Cook it until the bottom part is set.
- Remove the cover. Flip tortang giniling to cook the other side of it. Again, cover the pan. Continue cooking it.
- Once done, serve it immediately with rice or bread.
