How To Easily Prepare Banana Bread at Home

Banana bread is a baked dish. It was originated in the United States. It is usually made with mashed banana. It is a type of sweet bread. Today's banana bread will be made with banana, egg yolk, butter and milk etc. Banana bread is easy to be prepared at home.

For making stuffing:

  • 5 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

For making dough:

  • 2 cups of maida(all-purpose flour)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of instant yeast
  • 1 cup of warm milk


  1. Peel off the skin from all the bananas and cut them into slices with a knife.
  2. In a pan, pour the banana slices and add sugar and butter. Cook them until they turn into a smooth paste on low flame.
  3. After they turn into a smooth paste, pour it into a bowl and keep it aside.
  4. In another bowl, pour maida. Add egg yolk, sugar, instant yeast and warm milk. Mix them well and knead the mixture until a dough.
  5. Add butter with the dough and mix it well again and knead it again until a smooth dough.
  6. Create dough balls of the same size from the smooth dough.
  7. Now, roll out one dough ball with a rolling pin. Put a small portion of cooked banana paste in the center of rolled out dough and wrap it up as shown in the picture below. Let the banana breads rest for about 30 minutes.

8. After about 30 minutes, turn on the oven and heat a pan on low flame.

9. After heating the pan. Place the breads one by one and bake them for about 5 minutes on one side on low flame.

10. After baking for about 5 minutes on one side, flip the breads and bake them again for about 5 minutes on another side on low flame.

11. After baking for about 5 minutes on another side, take them out on a plate from the oven.

12. Banana breads are now ready to be served to the family.
