Ingredients Needed

  • 3 cups of uncooked rice, well soaked and rinsed.
  • 1/2 kilogram chicken, chopped into small pieces with no skin.
  • 5 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 onions, sliced.
  • 1/2 tablespoon powdered cumin seeds.
  • 1/2 tablespoon of ground coriander.
  • 1/2 tablespoon of crushed cinnamon bark.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cardamon seeds.
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped.

How To Cook

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Put onions to the sufuria and cook till slightly brown.
  3. Add cumin, cinnamon, cardamom, and garlic to the sufuria and stir the mixture well.
  4. Season your chopped chicken pieces with salt and pepper, add them to the mixture of spices in the sufuria and cook for about 15 minutes.

  6. Add some salt and enough water.

  • 1kg beef.
  • 4 cups of rice, washed and rinsed.
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric.
  • ½ teaspoon of grounded cumin seeds.
  • ½ teaspoon of ground garlic.
  • ½ teaspoon of ground ginger.
  • ½ teaspoon of black peppercorns.
  • Well chopped dhania.
  • 4 tomatoes.
  • 5 tablespoons of cooking oil.

  1. Put oil in a sufuria, fry onions till brown.
  2. Add all spices and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add rice and stir well to combine.
  5. Add enough water and cook over high heat with the sufuria uncovered until the water goes down.
