Honey Baked Ham
Use Good Raw Honey

Ingredients
- 8 lbs Spiral Ham, Smoked, Fully Cooked
- 1 1/2 cups Real Pear Juice(also called pear nectar)
- 1 1/2 cups Orange Juice
- 1 cup Raw Honey
- 1 cup Brown Sugar, Firm packed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place ham, in a large enough baking pan to hold it firmly. Combine the orange juice and pear nectar in a bowl and mix well. In another bowl, mix together the brown sugar and honey until well combined. Once the oven is ready, bake the ham for nearly 1 hour basting with juices every 15 minutes or so. Brush the ham with the brown sugar-honey mixture and bake for another hour or until internal temperature reads 140°F on a thermometer. Use a butane torch to caramelize the glaze to a crust.(these can be found at most hardware stores or online) or for true Honey Baked Ham effect cover with foil and caramelize.

I wonder who the first person was to suggest adding fruit and honey to meat? No doubt it comes out delicious. This looks tasty.
