Yummy Homemade Cakes

Cake is a baked food. Cake is a delicious, tasty, yummy, and sweet recipe. Cake is one of the most favorite foods of everyone and especially children. In many occasions like birthday, marriage day, or any ceremonies Cake is special, by cake cutting we celebrate them a lot. Cake cutting gives more fun and eating the cake gives more happiness and joy.

Cakes can be prepared with and without oven, with and without eggs, and with and without whisker or eggbeater. Cake needs very few and simple ingredients to prepare.

Here are some yummy and delicious cake recipes without oven:

1. Vanilla Sponge Cake:

Vanilla Sponge Cake is a softy, spongy, and delicious cake and can be prepared easily at home with a very few ingredients and without oven and without whisker or eggbeater.

Ingredients:

Eggs – 3

Sugar – 100 Grams

All Purpose Flour/Maida – 100 Grams

Oil/Ghee/Butter – 50 Grams

Vanilla Essence – 1/4 Teaspoon

Milk – 5 Tablespoons (Lukewarm Milk)

Baking Powder – 1 Teaspoon

Baking Soda – 1/2 Teaspoon

Salt – Pinch

Preparation Method:

Remember, to prepare a perfect sponge cake, measurements of the ingredients should be perfect. First we have to prepare cake batter.

To prepare cake batter, first grind the sugar into fine sugar powder in a mixie jar. Take a bowl and add sugar powder, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and sieve them and keep them aside. Now take a mixie jar, add 3 eggs, oil/ghee/butter, and vanilla essence and blend them in one direction for one minute until we get creamy texture and now add all sieved powders into it, blend for 2 minutes in one direction until we get nice creamy texture, in-between add lukewarm milk for batter consistency. Now cake batter is ready.

Take a cake tray and apply little ghee or oil at the bottom of the tray and place a butter paper or coat it with flour. Now pour the cake batter into the tray. Tap the tray for 2 or 3 times so that the batter spread evenly and air gaps disappear. Now cake batter is ready to bake.

Now bake the cake in a pressure cooker instead of oven. Take a pressure cooker, put it on stove, and light it. Pour sand or table salt into the pressure cooker and spread it evenly for up to 1-inch width. Now place a hot-pot stand in the middle of the pressure cooker and close the pressure cooker with lid without whistle and preheat the pressure cooker for 5 minutes on medium flame. After 5 minutes, remove the lid of the pressure cooker and keep the cake tray on the hot-pot stand in the pressure cooker carefully and close the pressure cooker with lid without whistle and bake the cake for 40 minutes on low flame. After 40 minutes, remove the lid of the pressure cooker and check whether the cake is baked or not using a fork or toothpick by pricking it in the middle of the cake. If the cake is baked, switch off the stove. If not, bake it for 10 more minutes. Now remove the cake tray carefully from the pressure cooker and let it cool for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, ease the edges of the cake tray with a knife, keep a plate on the tray and reverse the tray, tap the tray and remove it, and reverse the cake. Now cake is ready, transfer it into a serving plate. Spongy, yummy, and delicious vanilla sponge cake is ready. Cut the delicious vanilla sponge cake into pieces and serve.

2. Dry Fruit Cake:

Dry Fruit Cake is a delicious cake and can be prepared very easily at home without oven and without whisker or eggbeater. For this cake we use dry fruits and hence it is healthy and yummy.

Ingredients:

Badam – 2 Tablespoons (Chopped)

Cashew Nuts – 2 Tablespoons (Chopped)

Dates– 2 Tablespoons (Chopped)

Kismis – 2 Tablespoons

Watermelon Seeds – 2 Tablespoons

Tutti-Frutti – 2 Tablespoons

Cherries – 2 Tablespoons (Chopped)

Eggs – 2

Sugar – 100 Grams

All Purpose Flour/Maida – 100 Grams

Baking Powder– 1 Teaspoon

Baking Soda – 1/2 Teaspoon

Salt – Pinch

Butter – 50 Grams (Melted Butter)

Cinnamon Stick – 1/2 Inch

Cardamom – 2

Cloves – 2

Vanilla Essence – 1/4 Teaspoon

Milk – 5 Tablespoons (Lukewarm Milk)

Preparation Method:

First take a bowl and add chopped badam, cashew nuts, dates, cherries, kismis, watermelon seeds, tutti-frutti, and 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, mix them and keep them aside.

Now take a bowl and add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and sieve them and keep them aside.

Take a mixie jar and add sugar, small cinnamon stick, cloves, and cardamom and grind them into fine powder. Now add butter and eggs to the mixie jar and blend it well in one direction for 1 minute until we get creamy texture. Add sieved powder and vanilla essence into the mixie jar and blend it in one direction for 2 minutes and also add lukewarm milk in between until we get the perfect cake batter. Transfer the cake batter into a bowl and add one-third portion of the dry fruit mixture, which we prepared earlier and mix them once well. Keep the remaining dry fruit mixture aside for garnishing on the top of the cake while baking. Now dry fruit cake batter is ready to bake.
