My mouth waters when I see garlic bread. They are very delicious and tempting! You can't expect any recipe to be simpler and quicker than making this crazy snack. Yes! it takes only a few minutes to make these yummy snacks.

Looking at the health perspective, cheese garlic bread is beneficial, especially for children because cheese is a host of many nutrients like protein, calcium, phosphorus, and vitamins. Garlic too contains miraculous health-nourishing properties. This snack is beneficial even for elders. But, they should limit consumption due to this snack's excess fat content.

Ingredients:

  • 4 bread slices, cut into half
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 10-12 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small cup cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon pepper powder, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes, for the seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon oregano + basil, for the seasoning
  • salt, as per taste

Instructions

  1. Mix butter and chopped garlic. If you are using saltless butter, add some salt. Mix well. Spread it evenly on the top side of each bread.
  2. Next, spread the grated cheese on top of the buttered layer.
  3. Mix all the seasonings like pepper powder, chili flakes, oregano, and basil in a bowl. Sprinkle this mixture over the cheese layer.
  4. Grill the prepared slices in an oven for 4-5 minutes. I used a convection oven which took 4 minutes to cook. Remove and arrange the slices on a serving plate.
  5. Enjoy eating hot garlic bread slices with tomato sauce.
