7. Fruit Punch (Ice Free!)

Sometimes, you don't want a drink with lots of ice cubes. If it's going to be served at an event, iced beverages don't always have a long life span. Everyone has to drink right away - or risk the ice cubes watering everything down till it's pretty much tasteless by the end of the night.

That's why sometimes, you might be looking for a drink mix that doesn't require any ice at all. This recipe fits the bill - and the ingredients are pretty standard and easy to find, too.

  • 3 bananas
  • 6 ounces of frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 ounces of frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 23 ounce can of pineapple juice, unsweetened
  • 2 quarts of ginger ale

  1. Mash the bananas in with the orange juice, using a blender.
  2. Mix in the sugar and the water until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Mix the rest of the juice in.
  4. (Optional) When everything is blended, make ice cubes out of the juice.
  5. When you're ready to serve, either add the ginger ale to the juice mixture at room temperature. Or, if you made fruit ice, add it to the ginger ale.

8. "Diet" Punch

Want to celebrate with a festive drink, but you're still trying to watch calories? This mixture uses diet soda for a slightly less indulgent beverage.

  • 1 small can of frozen orange juice
  • 1-liter diet 7-Up or other lemon-lime soda
  • 1-liter Faygo diet red pop
  • 1 large (48 ounces) can of pineapple juice

  1. Mix everything together
  2. Chill
  3. Serve!

If you like, you can reserve some of the orange juice to make ice cubes. Just freeze cubes of orange juice, and mix the rest of the ingredients. Add the orange juice ice for a refreshing and pleasant low-cal drink!
