Fluffy Pancake with Baking Powder

I am a chef on a luxury world cruise liner. I love to cook and write recipes that are inspired by foods from all over the world.

Pancakes are considered as one of the most delicious breakfast meal. It is commonly served with butter or syrup. Other restaurants and hotels serve pancakes with fruity variety of sauces and compotes. Also, pancakes are best paired with eggs or other breakfast meats. In this recipe, I used baking powder as a leavening agent to increase the volume of the pancakes which results to fluffy texture. Enjoy a fluffy pancake with baking powder version at home by following our recipe.

  • Use milk instead of water for a creamier taste.
  • Separate egg yolk from egg white. Beat egg white first before adding it to the rest of the ingredients to make a fluffier pancake.
  • Make use of butter rather than oil for a nuttier taste.
  • Lower the heat for evenly cooking.
