Easy Yummy Dessert

Gather Your Ingredients

This YUMMY DESSERT is easy to make and will be a hit with all of your family and friends! I don't have a name for this recipe as my mom-in-love shared it with me over dinner one evening. I am calling it the YUMMY DESSERT because it fits so well. One bite and you will know what I mean! The recipe took me about 30 minutes to make the first time. I want to share with you how to make this fantastic crowd pleaser!

For this recipe, you will need a BOX OF GRAHAM CRACKERS, two packages of INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING, one small container of COOL WHIP (I used lite), three cups of MILK, and a can of CHOCOLATE FROSTING. Make your dessert in a large Pyrex dish. You will needa large mixing bowl to prepare the recipe. Gather your ingredients together and let's get started!

Easy to Make

Line the bottom of your dish with Graham Crackers. You will probably use one of the cracker packages in the box for each layer.

Next, put the contents of the Instant Vanilla Pudding into the mixing bowl and add three cups of milk. I used a whip to mix my pudding. Add a small container of cool whip to your pudding and mix well. The final product will be smooth and fluffy. Scrape the sides well to mix in all of the ingredients. Spread one half of this mixture over your crackers. Try not to break your crackers by putting too much of the pudding mixture on one spot. Smooth it evenly with a knife. Now you are ready for the next layer.

Place another layer of graham crackers in your pyrex dish. Spread the remaining mixture over this second layer of crackers and smooth with a knife. Add a final layer of graham crackers on top.

Put three fourths of the can of icing in a bowl and heat it for a few seconds in the microwave. Heating will make your icing more spreadable. If the icing is too watery after heating, add some of the icing left in the can and stir it into the watery icing to get the perfect spread. Spread the icing easily over the top layer of your graham crackers. If you want to add more icing, heat the remainder in the microwave before applying to your dessert.

Congratulations! Your dessert is complete. Cover the pan carefully with plastic wrap and leave it in the refrigerator overnight! Cut into squares and serve.

There are a number of other combinations that could work with this dessert. I recently tried a pumpkin spice pudding in my mixture instead of chocolate. It was yummy and a great Fall Dessert! Chocolate pudding as well as lemon pudding might work well! As you savor your dessert, think of some creative ways to vary your recipe and make it again! Happy eating!
