Delicious cream chicken mushroom pies made with chicken thighs and sliced mushrooms. Recipe is fantastic and perfect for mushroom lovers. It is elegant enough for weekend meals.

  • 500gm Chicken fillets cubed
  • 250gm sliced white button mushrooms
  • 3 tblsp oil
  • 2 tblsp crushed garlic
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp crushed cumin seeds
  • Crushed fresh green chillies to taste
  • Lemon and herb spice
  • 2 tblsp plain flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups Fresh Cream
  • 2 tblsp jalapeno sauce

  1. Firstly, heat the oil.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cumin seeds. Fry until the mushrooms are dry. Now add in the garlic and sauté for a minute. Add the chicken, spice, green chillies and cook until dry.
  3. Add the flour. Mix well.
  4. Next, add the fresh cream and cook until the mixture thickens to the consistency you like. Remember it thickens more as it cools down.
  5. Lastly add the jalapeno sauce. Mix well.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. Serve immediately.
