No, it is not a dangerous infectious disease, but a delicious savoury pie made with leek, apples, potatoes and mountain cheese to which the South Valaisans have given this "nice" name.

- 1 onion
- 175 g of leeks
- 2 my acid, for example santana
- 450 g of boiled potatoes
- 300 g of valais mountain cheese
- ground pepper

- 300 g made with flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 150 g of butter cold
- 2 tbsp of water
- 1 egg
- For the dough, mix the flour and salt. Add the butter cut into cubes. Crumble the butter and flour in cold hands. Add the water and the egg. Knead everything quickly and form a ball. Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Cut the onion and leek into thin rings. Peel the apples, halve them and free them from the core. Cut the potatoes, apples and cheese into thin slices. Mix them with the onion and leek. Season the mass with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Butter the mould. Beat the eggs. Set aside ⅓ of the dough. Roll out the remaining dough on the flour in a disk with a diameter a little larger than that of the mould. Place it in the mould. Spread the leek-based mass over the dough. Roll out the remaining dough into a disc. Place the disc over the vegetables and cover and press the edges well. Brush the lid of pasta with the egg and make a hole in the centre. Bake cholera in the lower half of the oven for approx. 35 minutes.
