Chicken of the Sea Fancy Smoked Oysters was my go to tonight. I had a little bit of trouble opening the can. There is a metal tab that you grab and pull up. Well. I bent it a little too much and the tab came off in my fingers.
Crap! That meant that there was a thin piece of metal between me and my oysters. So, I decided that I needed to use the can opener on the offending can, and I'm happy to report that it did work to open the can.
I proceeded to dump the oysters into a plastic box just in case I did not eat them all. [But you and I know better] I gave the oil to my cats and they loved it as well.
I ate mine, individually on Club Crackers. The flavor is slightly smoky, a little salty and to me, smoked oysters have a slight liver flavor. I love them!
