How to Make Chicken White Sauce Pasta

Italian food is all about a variety of sauces & cheese. Just a bowl of chicken and veggies dipped in a creamy rich white sauce is so delicious.

The white sauce is also known as Béchamel sauce, is one of the mother sauces of French cuisine and is used as the base in many pasta dishes. It can be prepared at home easily, and nothing beats a fresh homemade sauce. Pasta combined with chicken, capsicum, and carrot in a white sauce makes the perfect Italian dish at home. One of the main reasons we love this dish is because it’s simple and quick. You can make it start to finish in about 20 minutes without chicken. That’s my kind of dinner recipe. Just follow these easy steps to make this creamy pasta sauce which can be added to any pasta.

Step 1

  • Firstly, In a vassal add milk, bay leaf, onion, clove, white paper, and then add salt to it. Boil on high flame.

  • Make the sauce: Melt butter in a medium pan, add flour and cook for 1 minute over medium heat, whisk vigorously to prevent sticking to the bottom. Then turn off the heat and let it cool. Now discard the bay leaf, onion, and clove in the milk and add the milk in the flour little by little, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until it becomes thickened.

Step 3

  • Cook vegetables and chicken: Melt butter in a pan on medium flame, add garlic and sauté it for few seconds. Then add onion and cook for 1 minute. After 1 minute add chicken, salt, and black paper, fry for 3-4 minutes over high heat. Cover with lid and cook covered for 5 minutes.

Step 4

  • Assemble: Then add capsicum and carrot fry for 2-3 minutes on high flame. Now add cooked vegetables, chicken, and pasta mix in white sauce. Finally, add oregano and mozzarella cheese and mix well.

Instructions

  1. You can skip chicken in pasta.
  2. In step 1 you can skip white paper.

Ingredients

For white sauce:

  • 500 milliliters milk
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 onion
  • 4-5 clove
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper, (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons pain flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter(40 g)

For cooking of pasta:

  • 200 boiled pasta
  • 100 g chicken
  • 1 mid size carrots, chopped
  • 1 mid size capsicum, chopped
  • 1 mid size onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
