Oil: 1 cup
Onions (Chopped): 1 cup
Chopped Tomatoes: 1 Cup
Garlic+Ginger Past: 1 table spoon
Yogurt: 1/2 Cup
Safron / kewra water
Chicken: 500 gram
Rice: Long grain basmati 1 kg
green Cardamoms: 5
Cinnamon: 1 stick
Black Cardamoms: 2
Red chili powder: 1 table spoon
termuric powder: 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder: 1 table spoon
Garam Masala powder: 1 table spoon
Salt: 1 table spoon
Take a dish and boiled the rice for 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile mix safron in 1 cup water and add drops of kewra in it.
On the other side heat the oil in dish/Handi on low flame. Once the oil heat enough. Add green cardamoms, black cardamoms, bay leaves and ginger/garlic paste and cloves. Saute it for a minute. Then add chopped onions and saute it until golden brown. After that add tomatoes, chicken, red chilli powder, termuric powder, garam masala powder and salt. Now mix well all the spices and put the lid on the dish and cook it for 2, 3 minutes. Then add yogurd.
Now turn the flame medium low and spread boiled rice on it by making a layer. Add safron, kewra water on it and closed the lid. Cooked it for 15 to 20 minutes. Garnish fried onions and coriander leaves on it then serve it.
