Introduction to Cake

Black Forest cake is a sponge chocolate cake, in cherries based filling. It consist of many layers mainly of sponge cake, cherries, whipped cream and chocolate. It look like sandwish by its filling.

It is available at the bakeries, cafe and many restruants. Its taste is very delicious and much yummiest. People of all the ages like this cake.

Sponge Ingredients

For the sponge:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup coco powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup milk, warm
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 butter paper

For the Foresting:

  • 1 cup berries
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup chocolate, crushed

Cake Cooking Instructions

  1. First of all, take a bowl, add all the dry material and sieve it.
  2. Such as add 1 cup all piurpose flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, sieve all the material.
  3. Then add 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 cup coco powder and salt, sieve in the same bowl.
  4. In the same dry material bowl, add all the wet mixture.
  5. Such as 2 eggs whisk them slowly for 40 sec. Add 1/2 cup warm milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and 1/4 cup oil.
  6. Mix slowly all the material softly with hand whisk. Make sure do not over mix all the material.
  7. Now at the end add 1 tablespoon vinegar, mix thoroughly and gradually you will see the colour will change.
  8. Now grease the pan with oil or butter and than apply butter paper.
  9. Preheat the oven for about half hour. Now bake the cake at about 140F or 180C, for about 30 to 40 minutes.
  10. After 30 to 40 minutes, check the cake with the stick, if the stick comes fluidy cake is not ready, Bake it for more 10 minutes.

For the foresting and Cake making

  1. Take 1 cup whipped cream in a bowl, Whipped it for about 4 minutes as it completely whipped.
  2. Now cut the cake into three equal portions. Separate all the layers.
  3. Cut 1 cup red berries in a chopped method.
  4. Now on the first layer of cake, add some red berries juice, put the whipped cream and then spread it, put the 1/4 cup chopped red berries.
  5. Now put the 2nd layer in the 1st layer and prepared all the 3 three layers in such ways.
  6. It looks like a sandwish, now cover the full cake with the cream, which is whipped.
  7. After covering the cake, add some chopped chocolate in the center of the cake and on the sides of the cake.
  8. Afterwards, fill the pipping bag with the whipped cream, and with the star nozzle make stars flowers on the side and in the center.
  9. Add the berries on each flower.
  10. Your cake is ready.
  11. Put in the refrigerator for about 1 hours.
  12. Dish it out and serve 7 to 8 person.
