Apples with a Hodge Podge Crust

Ingredients

  • apples

For the topping:

  • flour
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 packages cake for one
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 sticks butter

Pour into the Apples:

  • 1 package Kool aid jammers fruit juice
  • 1/2 cup fruity jelly beans

Mix crumble and set aside. Peel and slice apples. Cut slices small. Sprinkle jelly beans on apples. Add drink box to apples.

Dump crumble mix on apples.

350 degree oven. Cover pan with foil. Center oven rack. 2 hours. Until apples are cooked to juiciness. (When they look melted, it's done.)
