Utensils needed

  1. Bowls
  2. Glass of water
  3. Spoons
  4. Spatula
  5. Pan
  6. Pan Spoon

Paratha and achar Ingredients

For the paratha dough:

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • half cup all purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • to knead the dough water
  • half cup desi ghee

For the achar:

  • mixed home made

For frying:

  • 1 cup desi ghee

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add wheat flour, all purpose flour, sugar and salt, mixed all these ingredients with hand, mixed until it get smooth and soft.
  2. Now, in the same flour mixture add little little water to make it soft dough.
  3. As the dough knead well and mixed good, smooth and soft, take 2 teaspoon desi ghee and spread all around the dough.
  4. Now, at this stage cover the dough with a small coth which we called as Malmal ka kapra.
  5. Let it aside for almost 15 to 20 minutes for the better results of dough.
  6. After 20 minutes, make three to four equal portions of pairaas of dough.
  7. Put a pan on the stove, on a meduim heat for warm the pan.
  8. Take first pairaa, dip it into the dry flour and tap the paira with your palm, sprinkle more dry flour to it as it does not patchy with the balna.
  9. Make a paratha of this paira and roll it about 5 to 6 inches.
  10. Put the paratha on the hot pan, after 25 second change the side of the paratha.
  11. Now cook the other side of paratha for atleast 30 second, again change the side.
  12. Now sprinkle desi ghee on the paratha and pan to grease both the paratha and the pan.
  13. After 2 minutes, the paratha is ready, dish it out in a plate and make other parathas.
  14. Serve these parathas hot with the achar.
  15. Hope you will like and love to eat this crispy, chatpata parathas and achar.

The key ingredient of butter, ghee or oil is used when cooking parathas to give them the wonderful taste they have. Butter being the most common choice.

For the Achar

  1. Take fresh homemade achar or you can take national achar.
  2. Achar should be of good quality.
  3. Make sure the achar is fully dipped in the mustard oil.
  4. Check the achar regularly once a week.
  5. If the achar is not dipped properly it spoiled all the achar.

Precautions Needed

  1. Make sure to serve parathas with achar hot.
  2. Apply some amount of desi ghee.
  3. After the desi ghee application, apply achar onto the paratha.
  4. It looks like yummiest and tastiest.
