ABBOTT
Below you can see one gravestone for the name Abbott, as is often the case this was scattered around the graveyard and so having found them I put the pieces back together so that it could be photographed.
Details are: James Abbott born about 1811, died 5 Jan 1893
I had other photographs of a different family of Abbott but my old pc died a death taking them with it, however I am willing to go and re-photograph them if they are ones that you are looking for, the are all buried in St. James Church, Hanslope, Buckinghamshire and here is the information I have on them:
Arthur John Abbot died 8 Oct 1965 and wife Lavinia Abbot died 1 Oct 1931, son George Arthur Abbot died 15 Jun 1918, killed in action in Boscom, Italy and buried in Boscom.
and
Kate Jemima Abbot died 9 Feb 1940 aged 79 years (wife of Alfred Abbott).
If you have details of who you are looking for I may have more burial information further afield. Let me know and I'll see what I can dig up for you.
ALFORD
ALFORD is unfortunately another one from the archives of the City of London Cemetery, the details I have are as follows and I hope that it helps.

ANDREWES
@Rose 123, your message "I would be grateful for information that you may have for Temple of Stowe (and Great Dassett, Warws), Andrewes,Lee (all spellings - especially Stantonbury and Great Linford), Claver (also Cleaver) Hart, Tyrrell, Tyrringham in the SEVENTEENTH CENTURY."
I'm afraid I have nothing for the Temple of Stowe or the other names in 17th Century. But I am very excited that someone wants information on the Andrewes as they were connected to the Uthwatt family, owners of Great Linford Manor, and believe it or not once upon a time, my own house, and at least one of the roads nearby is called after the Andrewes family. I have posted a photo of the Manor as the church is actually situated on the grounds of the Manor, you can visit the Manor grounds any time as they are open to the public all year round and in July there is a two day Waterside Festival which we attend every year.
ASHBY
Alice Ashby Roettger 5 weeks ago
Hello, I'm interested in graves that carry the names Ashby, Collett and Lewis.
The Ashby grave would be that of a child in Birmingham, who died in the late 1880s up until about 1910.
The Collett graves would be in Admington.
The Thomas Lewis grave would be in Reading, dated somewhere between 1863 and 1880.
Thanks.
I have found two infant's burials records under the name of Ashby but they are earlier than you stated but I will list them just in case they are of interest to you.
23 Oct 1831 John Ashby, 18 months, buried St. Mary Whittall Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire
and
17 Mar 1834 William Ashby, 14 months, buried same church.
I'm afraid I have no information on Admington, and no Thomas Lewis information in Reading.
ATKINSON
Lynn Whitaker 5 weeks ago
Hi I wood like info on The Atkinson And Whitaker and that came to VA thankyou Lynn Whitaker lwhitaker4@nc.rr.com
Here are two photographs of a child's grave; Douglas Atkinson, born 19 April 1933 who died 3 January 1934 it is in the churchyard of St. Peter & St. Paul's Church in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire.
The other Atkinson that I have listed is that of Clifford Atkinson born 1924 and buried at St. Laud's Church, Sherington, Buckinghamshire in 2001. I have no photograph of this as I don't tend to photograph the more modern gravestones as I feel it is an invasion of privacy to the family that would still be living in the area.
ARNOLD
For Arnold I have too many to list starting as far back as the Jun 1541, can you give me an idea of an area that you might be interested in - thanks.
ATTWELL
I have two burial records for the name Attwell but no photographs I'm afraid, despite having looked for the local one (in Hanslope) I couldn't find the gravestone. But here are the details that I have:
Catherine Attwell died 22 Oct 1890, buried at St. James the Great, Hanslope, Buckinghamshire
Harriet Sophia Attwell died 16 Nov 1856, buried in the City of London Cemetery, London - the details on the register are; Residence: 15 Nicholas Street, Hoxton, Age: 11 months, District in which the Death is registered: Hoxton Old Town, Middlesex, From What Parish Removed: St. Leonard, Situation of Grave: Square 27 number 87, No. of Grant: 165, Description of Interment: 2nd Class Common Interment, Unconsecrated Ground, If Pauper - The Union: Ceremony Performed by: James Woodard, Remarks: Daughter of G.H. Attwell
AYERS
The photographs below are the only ones I have for your surnames but not in Wiltshire. However I do have burial details for the other surnames in Wiltshire if you contact me directly I will send you an email as there are too many to list on here.
BAGGS
So far I have one gravestone under the name of BAGGS - and he is Samuel Baggs, died 1st August 1877 and is buried in St. Mary & St. Rhadegund Church's graveyard in the little village of Whitwell on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire.
Photographs below.
I also have information on 118 other burials for the name BAGGS in different parts of the UK from 1628 to 1825 but without photographs, and possibly more if you want more up-to-date info - let me know whereabouts you're looking and if there are any particular people you are looking for and I will see what I can do.
BAYES
BLOOD
BONNER
I also have burial details for the Bonner individuals buried in St. Giles & St. Mary in nearby Stony Stratord but unfortunately I cannot find any tombstones as there are very few graves left there.
William Bonner, aged 80, buried 18 Jul 1813
Ann Bonner, aged 84, buried 29 Jan 1817
Thomas Bonner, aged 14, buried 23 Apr 1819
Benjamin Bonner, aged 15, buried 14 Oct 1825
and
William Bonner, aged 85, buried 9 Jul 1851.
BORTON
There are number of BORTON gravestones at St. Laud's Church, Sherington, Buckinghamshire but since these are fairly recent 1940 onwards I have not photographed and won't publish them so as not to offend any family members. Anything before this date is as follows:
BRAILSFORD
Hi Kerrie, thank you so much for your kind comments. I only have one photograph of a BRAILSFORD gravestone, and it is more a monument being fairly big. The photograph is quite dark as it was inside a small copse of trees, unfortunately I wasn't the first to make this journey and a stupid girl called Rachel had vandalised it. I took a photograph as you can see from the first photo below, then entirely disgusted by it I went back with a scrubbing brush and tried to repair the damage, I didn't get it all off but at least you can read the words now.
One of the great things about this gravestone is that there is a LOT of family information on it, linking different surnames all with the one family.

Charlotte Mary Brailsford born 10 Jun 1842, died 15 Feb 1925, died at Croydon, Surrey, buried at St. Peter & St. Paul's, Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire
BRETT
Brian Horton 4 weeks ago
I'd be interested in any Brett graves especially in East Yorkshire.
Brian Horton
No photographs for this surname in Yorkshire and only one burial in that area:
Sarah Brett, buried 22 January 1823, infant, buried at St. Oswald, Kirk Sandall, Yorkshire.
BROWNING
For this surname in Coaley, Gloucestershire they have posted all occurrences in the Parish Registers online and free at the link below. Although I have 2 burial records as well, not sure if they are included so just incase they're not;
6 Mar 1823 Samuel Browning, age 58, St. Bartholomew, Coaley, Gloucestershire
2 Jul 1825 Patience Browning, age 18, as above
And sorry but I have nothing for the other three surnames in Gloucestershire at all.
- Coaley Parish Registers
Parish Register details for Coaley, Gloucestershire, UK, of interest to family historians.
BUCK
Burial Details without photographs:
Eleanor Ann Buck, buried 24 Oct 1927, All Trinity, Old Wolverton, Buckinghamshire, residence at time of death 94 Stratford Road, Wolverton
Elijah Buck, buried 14 Mar 1923, All Trinity, Old Wolverton, residence at time of death Stratford Road, Stony Stratford/Wolverton

William Jonathan Buck, All Trinity, Old Wolverton, Buckinghamshire - born 1884, burial 5 June 1930, death at time of residence Stratford Road, Stony Stratford/Wolverton

William Jonathan Buck, All Trinity, Old Wolverton, Buckinghamshire - born 1884, burial 5 June 1930, death at time of residence Stratford Road, Stony Stratford/Wolverton
BUTT
Found in the depths of the City of London Cemetery records:
Robert Butt, buried 6 Aug 1856, Residence Dean Street, Fetter Lane, London, age 29 years, District in which the Death is registered Islington West, Middlesex, From What Parish Removed: St.Mary, Islington, Situation of Grave: Square 41 number 21, No. of Grant 38, Description of Interment: 2nd Class Common Interment, Unconsecrated Ground, Ceremony Performed by: James Woodard
And from the list below I would guess that the BUTT family came from Birmingham and it looks like there were two main family lines throughout the 1700s.
Burial Date
24 Jun 1711 - George, buried in St. Martin,Birmingham, Warwickshire
6 Mar 1724 - George, buried in St. Philip, Birmingham, Warwickshire

BUSH
BridgetBush
You are definitely an angel to all geneologists! Do you have any pictures or information on Bush in Bitton? I understand there is a Bush memorial in St Marys churchyard that is listed that i would love to see a picture of. :). Thank you for all you do!!!
Hi Bridget, sorry for the delay, I haven't been over to Bitton, but there are a few things out there on the web that might be of interest to you in the BItton Parish Chronicles there are a couple of the Bush family mentioned:
- Bitton Parish Chronicles 1759 - 1796
News & Events Bitton Parish 1759 - 1796
The above link leads to lots of other pages of the Parish Chronicles which I hope will help, there also seems to be a fair amount of people on Ancestry.co.uk that are interested and have information on the Bush family in Bitton. I will try to see what else I can come up with if there are particular family members that you are trying to find.
