Top 5 Hot Female Comedians

This is my top 5 female comics that are out there and still in your face in 2018. They get me laughing every time. These women talk about everything just like the guys do. Believe me though they are not afraid to either. They are just as raw and raunchy as the men with the cussing and the topics that they choose.

My list of top 5 is not in any particular order because I would be stumped when it comes to choosing who would go first. The top 5 are; Wanda Sykes, Ellen Degeneres, Sheryl Underwood, Sommore and Kathy Griffin.

I had so much fun researching this topic. I wanted to do something a little different because we always focus on the men. Also I wanted to continue on the topic of laughter which my other hub is about.

If you like to laugh and laugh hard then you’ll enjoy these women. The only person on this list that isn’t raw like the rest is Ellen Degeneres but I love to watch her show and I love that she stresses kindness to one another.

The show has won her countless Emmys for Favourite Funny Female Star, Favourite Talk Show Host and Favourite Yes I Chose This Star.

Ellen’s signature style on the show is a button down shirt with a vest or sleeveless/sweater over it, a pair of pants and sneakers. She starts off the show by dancing with her studio audience. Sometimes she does a short stand up routine.

Apart from her successful show, Ellen has done work in many movies such as Coneheads and Finding Nemo. Her sitcom Ellen which aired from1994–1998 became the place for her “outing”. She announced publicly in 1997 that she was gay.

Serious on December 21, 2011:

These comedians suck. Not only are they not funny but who put "Hot" in the title? They are all butt ugly Their jokes are not funny. Wanda's stand up is terriable, as well as Griffins. Ellen only has a show because she is so left everyone thinks its cute for a lesbian to have witty things to say. They all suck, delete this page and stop misleading everyone who is interested in finding a true female comedian

@eventsyoudesign, Aww that's sweet of you to say. Thanks. Kathy can "slang" with the best of them.

eventsyoudesign from Nashville, Tennessee on September 26, 2010:

I think there are some very funny female comedians and your list is good. Kathy Griffin is not one of my favorites, but I guess I have never really listened to her act. I do love Ellen and Wanda Sykes is great too.

P.S. I like your avatar. You look like you could be a model. Thanks for sharing. Teresa

Chris Eddy111 (author) from Ontario, Canada on September 24, 2010:

Mikey, I had never heard of her but checked her out on the tube. Yep,girl is funny but remember this is my version. Thanks for commenting.

Mikey on September 18, 2010:

South Florida Comedian Laurie Fondiler ~ Hey, great pic of you on your site. I'll go listen to some of your stuff. Thanks for your comment.

South Florida Comedian Laurie Fondiler on March 09, 2010:

Ellen and Rita Rudner are my favorite females. I am a comedian and work because I am clean - a little suggestive at the most. But, I think they are brilliant!! They inspire me to work hard.

Chris Eddy111 (author) from Ontario, Canada on January 22, 2010:

Micky, I don't know what happened at your viewing but on my side it's showing. Must be an on and off thing. Thanks for the info. Hmm, side effects eh, later then.

Micky Dee on January 21, 2010:

I have loved Wanda Sykes since the first time I saw her. All the ladies were great. Kathy Griffin's video was taken away. These are funny people. I'll have to tell you about my side effects later.

Chris Eddy111 (author) from Ontario, Canada on January 12, 2010:

Dave~ These women are outrageously funny. Thanks for your comment.

Chris Eddy111 (author) from Ontario, Canada on January 02, 2010:

Jon~ Thanks for telling me where you stand regarding female comedians. I guess you've never listened to any of these ladies either. Oh well, thanks for your post.

Jon on January 01, 2010:

What? Who compiled this list, they all suck! Plain and simple, very few women are funny, unless they do a typical male act. Sorry ladies, comedy belongs to men with a very few exception to the rule. Just stating the truth.

Dave on June 12, 2009:

Wanda Sykes is my funny girl, but love Cheryl underwood cause she can take a serious situation and make it so funny and back it up with normal situations.....two thumbs up to Ms Underwood
