I'll try to state my case in this list by posting videos, info, links to their work - mp3, CD's, DVDs.Some of the info is taken from various sources. At the end I'll ask you to share your personal Top 10 and also leave some comments.
1.Eric Adams - Manowar
Eric Adams was born "Louis Marullo" on 12 July 1954 in Auburn, New York.In 1980, joined Manowar. He is known for holding high note screams for over 40 seconds at Manowar shows. Adams was influenced by Deep Purple's vocalist Ian Gillan. He stated that as a young man he used to go to every of Deep Purple's show.
On June 30, 2007 Eric Adams sang the Bulgarian national anthem "Mila Rodino" during Manowar's concert in Kavarna, Bulgaria. It was recorded for the Magic Circle Festival DVD.
Adams is an accomplished bow hunter and a qualified bow instructor. In 2006 he produced, and featured in the outdoor DVD - Wild Life and Wild Times. The soundtrack was composed by Eric Adams, who plays guitar and keyboard.
Why Adams is Number 1 in my list. I heard Manowar for the first time in 1997 the song was "The Crown and The Ring". I remember that powerful sound but more noticeable was the voice of Eric Adams.I never become great fan before a few years later I saw the video Hell on Earth I, which includes a live coverage from their concert in Brazil. It strucked me immediately not only how powerful the voice of Eric Adams is but how clear it was. Many singers record good studio albums but never seems to sound that good on stage. Eric still has the power of his voice after more than 30 years of performing hundreds of live shows.I had the chance to hear Manowar in 2008 in Bulgaria and Eric taking high notes for more than 30 seconds. He sang for more than 5 hours.Unbelievable.

2.Joe Lynn Turner - Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, Deep Purple
Joe Lynn Turner (August 2, 1951), is an American rock singer, known for his works with Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force, Deep Purple
Born Joseph Arthur Mark Linquito for an Italian family. In his high school years, Joe formed Ezra, performing original material and covered songs by artists as Jimi Hendrix, Free, Queen, and Deep Purple. In 1976, Turner joined Fandango, described as an eclectic mix of R&B, pop, country, jazz and melodic rock. He sang and played guitar on all of the band's four albums. Fandango toured with numerous artists including The Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Beach Boys and Billy Joel.
After Fandango split, the guitarist Ritchie Blackmore auditioned him for the job as singer of Rainbow. Richie Blackmore was so impressed of Turner performance that he offered him the job immediately.
The album "Difficult to Cure" was released in 1981.Several tracks from albums reached the Top 20 on rock radio charts in the early- to mid-80's. "Stone Cold" became Rainbow's first Top 40 hit and the band's videos were played on MTV. Turner recorded three studio albums with Rainbow: Difficult to Cure, Straight Between the Eyes, and Bent Out of Shape, which featured the single "Street of Dreams".
Turner has been working mainly on his prolific solo career since mid-1990 and has worked with the Finnish rock band Brazen Abbot by Bulgarian guitarist Nikolo Kotzev and with Glenn Hughes under the "Hughes Turner Project" name.
Why Joe Lynn Turner is Number 2. If I could I would put him it would be to 1 1/2 place. Great voice, it seems to have found the right music for himself. His technical skills are on really high level. I always like his performance of Rainbow song, recently I've been listening his album with Yngwie Malmsteen.I think he is the only one who can get really close to Eric Adams in my personal list.He is just incredible vocalist and his voice powerful and soft melodic in the same time.

3.David Coverdale - Whitesnake, Deep Purple
David 'Jack' Coverdale (born 22 September 1951) in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Redcar and Cleveland, England is rock singer, most famous for his work with the English hard rock band Deep Purple, and his band Whitesnake., His love for music developed early around the age of 14, the aspiring singer began performing professionally and developing the voice which made him famous.
One the most famous song of the first album (Burn - February 1974) with Deep Purple Coverdale co-written with Ritchie Blackmore - "Mistreated" .The iconing futured "Soldier of Fortune" in the album Stormbringer (November 1974) is the one which almost always comes to mind when you say David Coverdale.
The most most recognizable songs with Whitesnake , "Here I Go Again" and "Is This Love" are from the band's 1987 self-titled album.
Number 3 for David Coverdale. One of the greatest in the music. The sadness in his voice when he performs "Soldier of Fortune" live really makes you feel the pain and the sadness expressed in the song. The reason I didn't put him ahead of Joe Lynn Turner is his voice is on the down side recently but nothing lasts forever.
