Synth Single Review: "Voices Of Void" by Toxxic Project & Dynatron
Toxxic Project & Dynatron’s Voices of Void captures ghostly echoes moving out through ethereal space. The track starts as a voice drifts with poetic expression, and a vibrating, accelerating sound emerges. Colossal bass slowly and densely pulsates as haunting higher notes float through the music with an ethereal motion. The drums and bass hit hard as ghostly notes trail through the music, misty and insubstantial.
The drum beat is concentrated and heavy while the bass rumbles. Rippling synth, like delicately trailing fog illuminated by pained warmth, flows as the low end continues to drive. The bass echoes into a dark void as tenuous sounds hover and wander, while tragic chords expand in the distance. Another distant voice adds to the ominous atmosphere as the heavily punching drums and surrounding bass grow in strength.
Drums and bass thunder again as spectrally delicate synth flows through the music with a surprisingly gentle, emotionally affecting melody. Slowly roaming notes glide above the low end to create a peaceful contrast to the gigantic power below, which I find ear-pleasing. The enigmatic notes levitate above the black void that roils and surges while whispers move through the track, until silence falls.
