Ferus Melek & Sonic Gap’s Done and Gone mingles many synthesized layers with melodies that move between dynamism and darkness. The track begins with brightly flaring synth flickers above an actively shifting bassline, while the percussion explodes with life. Flashing notes fly out as a sharp-edged, medium-low synth entwines with a guitar that bursts with gleaming light above the heavily driving, explosive percussion.

A wandering synth adds a dynamic and uplifting quality, twisting and leaping with abandon as the percussion intensifies. The main melody has an active and freewheeling feel, bending and arcing above the low end. A steady drone with an ominous feeling fills the music as shadows rise and threatening notes glimmer, accompanied by the ticking of a hi-hat.

The energy grows again as the drums pulse and a triumphant synth radiates a steady glow. The track reaches a crescendo, its strength increasing as sweeping sounds drift through. A brassy synth shines while the drums throb heavily above the thick bass. The entire composition becomes more intense as the melody adds a wistful, dreamy quality. The track fades on expansive synth chords and glittering notes.
