Knight Rider KITT Whistles

KITT The Amazing Talking Car

I remember when I first watched Knight Rider. I was totally taken with KITT the car. It talked and was hauled around in the back of a armored semi until the call of duty was needed. Then KITT would slide out the back end and fly down the road to take care of the mission that awaited. What a wild, fun and shiny black car! Wouldn't you want to have one that talked to you? I did.

Universal Studios

During the summer of 1985 I visited my sister in Oregon. While there we planned a trip to California to go Disneyland and Universal Studios. It was quite the trip! Guess who was at Universal Studios. Non other then the Knight Rider car KITT! I was so excited. My sister and I along with her kids waited in a long line to finally get our turn to see the car. As we waited we could hear it talking to each person. What a hoot! I couldn't wait to hear what it would say to me. Finally my turn came and as I walked towards the car it whistled. It made me giggle with excitement. As I sat in the car the dash lit up and it talked even more to you. You could ask a question and it answered you. It was pretty exciting and neat. Not quite sure where the camera was but of course its KITT; it knows everything! It was super cool to see the Knight Rider Car.

About The Movie

KITT was part of crime fighting along with Michael Long as his partner. The went after the bad guys to protect the innocence. David Hasselhoff was the actor who played Michael. KITT's voice was of William Daniels. KITT stands for Knight Industries Two Thousand. The car was indestructible and with the most amazing artificial intelligence. It could do anything! Back then I thought it would be pretty neat to have a car like that.

KITT's Four Seasons

Knight Rider Seasons

There are 4 seasons of Knight Rider. I've watched them all! They were the best. I loved KITT the car! I'd love to have a car that talked to me.
